Health Data to PDF does not collect, store, transmit, or share any of your personal or health data. All processing happens entirely on your device.
1. Overview
Health Data to PDF ("the App") is designed with privacy as its core principle. The App converts Apple Health export files into professional PDF medical reports. Every aspect of this process occurs locally on your iPhone or iPad. We have no servers that receive your data, no analytics that track your usage, and no accounts that store your information.
2. Data We Do NOT Collect
We want to be completely transparent. The App does not collect or access any of the following:
- Health or medical data of any kind
- Personal information (name, email, phone number, address)
- Device identifiers or advertising IDs
- Location data
- Usage analytics or behavioral data
- Crash reports or diagnostics
- Contacts, photos, or any other device data
3. How Your Health Data Is Processed
When you use the App:
- Import: You select an Apple Health export file (.zip or .xml) from your device using the standard iOS file picker. The App reads this file locally.
- Parsing: The XML data is parsed entirely on your device using a streaming parser that processes data efficiently without loading the entire file into memory.
- Report Generation: PDF reports are generated on your device using local rendering. No data is sent to any external service.
- Sharing: If you choose to share or export the generated PDF, it is handled by iOS's native share sheet. The App itself does not transmit the PDF anywhere.
- Cleanup: Temporary files created during processing are automatically deleted after the report is generated.
4. No Network Communication
The App makes zero network requests related to your health data. The only network communication that may occur is:
- Apple StoreKit: When you make an in-app purchase or restore a purchase, communication occurs directly between your device and Apple's App Store servers. This is handled entirely by Apple's framework and does not involve our servers.
5. In-App Purchases
The App offers a one-time in-app purchase for the Pro Report feature. This transaction is processed entirely by Apple through StoreKit. We do not receive, store, or have access to your payment information, Apple ID, or transaction details.
6. Data Storage
The App does not store any health data persistently on your device. Health data is held in memory only during the active session for parsing and report generation. When you close the App or generate a new report, previous data is cleared from memory. The generated PDF file is available only through the share action you initiate.
7. Third-Party Services
The App does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, tracking, or data processing services. There are no SDKs, no Firebase, no analytics frameworks, and no advertising networks in the App.
8. Children's Privacy
The App does not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13. Since the App collects no data from any user, this applies equally to all age groups.
9. Data Deletion
Since we do not collect or store any data, there is no data to delete. If you wish to remove all App data from your device, simply delete the App. All temporary files will be removed automatically. For more information, visit our Data Deletion page.
10. Changes to This Policy
If we make any changes to this Privacy Policy, we will update this page with the new policy and update the "Last updated" date at the top. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
