How do I export my data from Apple Health?
Open the Health app on your iPhone, tap your profile picture in the top-right corner, scroll down to the bottom, and tap "Export All Health Data". This will create a .zip file that you can import directly into Health Data to PDF.
Why is the export file so large?
If you've been using Apple Health for a long time or have many connected devices (Apple Watch, fitness trackers, etc.), your health data can be several gigabytes. The App is designed to handle very large files efficiently using a streaming parser that processes data without loading the entire file into memory.
Is my health data sent to any server?
No, absolutely not. All data processing happens 100% on your device. The App makes no network requests related to your health data. Your data never leaves your iPhone or iPad.
What's the difference between the Free and Pro report?
The Free report provides a single-page summary of your last 7 days of health data. The Pro report is a comprehensive multi-page document with detailed charts, complete lab results, custom date ranges, a table of contents, and data for all available health categories.
I purchased Pro but it's not showing up. What do I do?
Try tapping "Restore Purchase" on the upgrade screen. This will sync your purchase with the App Store. Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID used for the original purchase. If the issue persists, please contact us.
Can I use this on my iPad?
Yes! Health Data to PDF works on both iPhone and iPad. Export your health data from your iPhone, transfer the .zip file to your iPad (via AirDrop, Files, iCloud Drive, etc.), and open it in the App.
What iOS version is required?
Health Data to PDF requires iOS 17.0 or later.
The App is taking a long time to parse my data. Is this normal?
For very large health exports (several years of data with an Apple Watch), parsing can take 30 seconds to a few minutes. This is normal. The App shows a progress indicator while processing. Please keep the App in the foreground during this process.
How do I request a refund?
All purchases are processed by Apple. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple ID, find the purchase, and follow Apple's refund process.
How do I delete my data?
Since the App does not store any data on servers, simply deleting the App from your device removes all associated data. For more details, visit our Data Deletion page.
